Admon Gilder
American Admon Gilder (193-G-1995) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for M.Haifa and that’s him to receive a Hoops Agents National League Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 27-year old guard had the game-high 28 points adding nine rebounds and three assists for M.Haifa in his team’s victory, helping them to beat H.Hevel Modi’in (#14, 0-13), the league’s bottom-ranked team 86-77. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. M.Haifa is placed at 9th position in Israeli National League. M.Haifa is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-7 record. In the team’s last game Gilder had a remarkable 64.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be M.Haifa’s top player in his first season with the team. Gonzaga University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Gilder is in league’s top in points (3rd best: 21.5ppg) and averages solid 2.5spg and 54.5% FGP.
The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was young American power forward Tyler Wideman (203-PF-1995) of Ramat Hash.. Wideman impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 26 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Ramat Hash. was edged by slightly higher-ranked M.Haifa (#9, 6-7) 105-103. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Ramat Hash. keeps 11th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league’s best with a mere 5-8 record. Wideman is well-known by Ramat Hash. fans and he already established his position as one of team’s most reliable players.
The third best performed player last round was American Michael Holyfield (211-C-1992) of H.Hevel Modi’in (#14). Holyfield scored 18 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Holyfield’s great performance H.Hevel Modi’in lost 77-86 to the higher-ranked M.Haifa (#9, 6-7). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. H.Hevel Modi’in can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 13 games. Holyfield has a very solid season. In 4 games in Israel he scored 15.8ppg.

8. Jimmy Hall (203-PF-1994) of H.Afula – 21 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists
9. Raijon Kelly (193-G-1993) of E.Shomron – 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Jalen Canty (203-F-1995) of M.Raanana – 12 points and 14 rebounds
The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
