Ovarense-Gavex (Liga Betclic) added to their roster 29-year old American point guard Isaiah Johnson (183cm-84kg-1993, college: Young Harris). Johnson played last season at AB Contern in Luxembourg LBBL. In three games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.0ppg, 8.7rpg, 6.0apg and 2.7spg.
He has played also professionally in Slovakia (Iskra Svit), Spain (Huesca) and Portugal (Terceira).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the PeachBelt Tournament Semifinals in 2015. Johnson was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Slovakian League Defensive Player of the Year in 2020.
He graduated from Young Harris College in 2015 and it will be his eighth season as a professional player.
