American Forward Cleveland Melvin (203-F-1991) put on an amazing game in the last round for top-ranked Start, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 31-year old player was the main contributor (30 points, four rebounds and three assists) to his team’s victory, helping them to crush Prishtina (#1, 1-3) with 20-point margin 89-69. The game was between two of the league’s top four teams. It allowed Start to consolidate first place in the European North Basketball League. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost that single game earlier this season. Start has a very solid 2-1 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team’s last game Melvin had a remarkable 61.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Start’s top player in his first season with the team. Of course he led Prishtina to another comfortable win 89-75 over Zastal (2-2) being unquestionably team leader. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let’s wait for the next round. Berisha is a newcomer at Prishtina, but is already one of team’s top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Montenegrin forward Alen Hadzibegovic (207-F-1999, agency: BeoBasket) of league’s top team Zastal.
