Dachon Burke
25-year old guard Dachon Burke (193-G-1997) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Prizreni and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
He had the game-high 32 points adding nine rebounds and five assists for Prizreni as his team lost the game against Prishtina (#2, 9-3) 71-77. Prizreni maintains the 5th position in Kosovan league. Prizreni is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 6th lost game this season out of 11 games. In the team’s last game Burke had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Prizreni’s top player in his first season with the team. University of South Alabama graduate has very impressive stats this year. Burke is league’s best scorer averaging so far 28.9ppg. Burke is in league’s top in and averages solid 3.3spg and 59.4% FGP.
Second best performed player last round was Daniel Lekndreaj (192-F-1997) of Bashkimi. He is Albanian forward in his first season at Bashkimi. In the last game Lekndreaj recorded impressive double-double of 21 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Bashkimi was edged by the higher-ranked Ylli (#3, 8-4) 80-78. Bashkimi managed to keep the same 7th spot in the standings. 10 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Bashkimi managed to get this year. Lekndreaj is a newcomer at Bashkimi and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.
Third place about best performers goes to forward Dustin Thomas (203-F-1995) of league’s second-best Prishtina. Thomas scored 21 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Prishtina, leading his team to a 77-71 win against the lower-ranked Prizreni (#5, 5-6). Prishtina needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 9 victories and 3 lost games. Thomas has a great season in Kosovo. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in points with 17.9ppg (3rd best) and rebounds with 9.3rpg (4th best).

9. Erjon Kastrati (197-G/F-1994) of Trepca – 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists
10. Jordan Harris (185-G-1999) of Vellaznimi – 22 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists
The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
