KK-Alkar-Sinj (Premijer Liga) signed 27-year old Croatian point guard Lovre Basic (180cm-1995). Basic already started the season at Siroki in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I, but left the team in Oct.’22. In two games he had 14.5ppg, 3.0rpg, 5.0apg and 2.5spg. The last season he played at HKK Posusje (Division I) in Bosnia where in 8 games he recorded very impressive stats: 17.0ppg, 3.0rpg, 7.3apg and 1.3spg. He also played for Jazine in Croatian Prva Liga. In 8 games he averaged 12.0ppg, 2.6rpg, 5.8apg and 1.4spg. Basic also spent pre-season at Liege Basket (Pro Basketball League) in Belgian league.
He represented Croatia at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Crete (Greece) eight years ago. His team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 5 games: 0.6ppg.
Basic has played previously for three other Croatia teams: Vostarnica, Osijek and Policnik. He played in the final of Croatian Cup (Kresimir Cosic Cup) in 2015 and 2016.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Eurobasket.com Croatian Premijer Liga All-Defensive Team in 2020.
