Stephen Maxwell
28-year old forward Stephen Maxwell (201-F-93) had a very impressive game in the last round for Peja and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
He had a double-double of 34 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat Prishtina (#6, 7-8) 101-93. Peja is placed at 4th position in Kosovan league. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Peja will need more victories to improve their 8-5 record. Maxwell turned to be Peja’s top player in his first season with the team. California State University Northridge graduate has very impressive stats this year. Maxwell is in league’s top in points (5th best: 20.5ppg) and averages solid 63.3% FGP.
Second best performed player last round was Isaiah Johnson (194-G/F) of Drita. He is American swingman in his first season at Drita. In the last game Johnson recorded impressive double-double of 43 points and 17 rebounds. Bad luck as Drita lost that game 90-103 to slightly higher-ranked Rahoveci (#7, 4-9). Drita are still at the very bottom. 15 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Johnson is a newcomer at Drita and quickly became one of team’s most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.4ppg (#6). He also registered 7.9 boards per game.
Third place about best performers goes to guard Wendell Mitchell (190-G-97) of Prishtina (#6). Mitchell showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, thirteen rebounds (!!!) and five assists in the last round. Despite Mitchell’s great performance Prishtina lost 93-101 to slightly higher-ranked Peja (#4, 8-5). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Prishtina ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 8 games, recording just seven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Mitchell could help Prishtina to bring them higher in the standings. Mitchell has a very solid season. In 11 games in Kosovo he scored 13.9ppg. He also has 6.4rpg, 4.1apg and FGP: 57.1%.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
