American Forward Tyler Bey (201-F-1998) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for I.Ness Ziona, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8.
The 24-year old player was the main contributor (30 points, seven rebounds) to his team’s victory, helping them to edge out H.Gilboa Galil (#12, 2-6) 94-90. I.Ness Ziona maintains the 4th position in Israeli Winner League. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. I.Ness Ziona will need more victories to improve their 5-2 record. In the team’s last game Bey had a remarkable 78.6% from 2-point range. He turned to be I.Ness Ziona’s top player in his first season with the team. Former University of Colorado star has very solid stats this year. Bey is league’s best scorer averaging so far 23.6ppg. Bey is in league’s top in rebounds (8th best: 7.4rpg) and averages impressive 65.4% FGP and 50.0% from behind 3-point line.
The second best player in last round’s games was young Belgian Emmanuel Lecomte (180-PG-1995, agency: Players Group) of H.Eilat. Lecomte had a very good evening with 22 points and 8 assists. It was enough for H.Eilat to edge slightly lower-ranked Bnei Hertzeliya (#10, 2-6) 86-81. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But H.Eilat managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 9th place. His team is not often considered as one of the league’s best with a mere 3-5 record. Lecomte is a newcomer at H.Eilat, but is already one of team’s top players.
Third on the list of top players last round was another I.Ness Ziona’s star – American guard Shaq Buchanan (190-G-1997). Buchanan got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds . He was another key player of I.Ness Ziona, helping his team with a 94-90 win against the lower-ranked H.Gilboa Galil (#12, 2-6). I.Ness Ziona needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 2 lost games. Buchanan has a great season in Israel. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in points with 20.4ppg (3rd best). He also has 2.1spg and FGP: 53.7%.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
