It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kastela. Jazine shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. Forward Krsevan Klarica (196-2003) scored 25 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Petar Maric (196-1987, agency: PEPI SPORT) chipped in 10 points and 7 assists during the contest. Jazine’s coach used entire bench in such tough game. At the losing side Mateo Kedzo (205-1984) responded with 24 points and 8 rebounds. Jazine maintains seventh position with 5-5 record. Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Zagreb: Zagreb (#2) and H.Analitica (#8). Zagreb (8-2) smashed visiting H.Analitica (4-6) by 19 points 84-65. Guard Dino Butorac (191-1990) notched 18 points and 6 assists to lead the effort and Kristijan Joksimovic supported him with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Even 9 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists by swingman Josip Skara (193-1994) did not help to save the game for H.Analitica. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zagreb have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Newly promoted Zagreb maintains second position with 8-2 record behind leader Dubrovnik. H.Analitica at the other side dropped to the ninth place with six games lost. Zagreb will play against Kastela (#6) in Kastela Sucurac in the next round. H.Analitica will play at home against Omis-Cagalj T. and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Very important is a home loss of third ranked Omis-Cagalj T. (6-3) against fifth ranked Osijek (7-3) on Saturday night. Host Omis-Cagalj T. was crushed by Osijek in Galeb 83-63. Tihomir Vranjes fired a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Ivan Rasetina produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds for lost side. Omis-Cagalj T.’s coach Ante Nazor rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Osijek moved-up to third place. Loser Omis-Cagalj T. dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. Osijek will meet at home Kvarner 2010 (#5) in the next round. Omis-Cagalj T. will play against H.Analitica in Zagreb and hope to secure a win.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 10: Dubrovnik won against Kvarner 2010 on the opponent’s court 68-54. Samobor unfortunately lost to Mladost in a home game 73-79. Winless Sonik P. recorded a loss to Stoja Pula on the road 92-94.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 18 points and 10 rebounds by Matej Perkovic of Osijek.

Kvarner 2010 – Dubrovnik 54-68

Rather expected game in Rijeka where 4th ranked Kvarner 2010 (6-4) was defeated by first ranked Dubrovnik (9-1) 68-54 on Saturday. Dubrovnik forced 19 Kvarner 2010 turnovers. Filip Vujicic (195-2000) fired 25 points for the winners. Forward Gvido Gustin (201-2001) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. American swingman Courtney Fells (199-1986, college: NC State) produced 13 points and 7 rebounds and the former international guard Sinisa Stemberger (196-1979) added 9 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Dubrovnik have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-1 record. Loser Kvarner 2010 dropped to the fifth place with four games lost.
