The most interesting game of round 6 was a derby match between two teams from Yerevan. The game took place in Yerevan where fourth ranked Mad Foxes won against visiting Cilicia (2-5) 86-72. Mad Foxes forced 24 Cilicia turnovers. It was a good game for American guard Damian Archer (183-1996, college: Miles) who led his team to a victory with 18 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. The other American import guard Kaleb Hunter (193, college: UNCG) contributed with 26 points and 5 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners. Mad Foxes’ coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Troy Jones (201, college: TAMUK) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals for Cilicia. Mad Foxes (4-3) moved-up to third place. Cilicia at the other side dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. Mad Foxes’ supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Yerevan Supersonics.
Bottom-ranked Supersonics is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to sixth ranked New Bayazet (3-4) 106-93. American players dominated the game. Guard Nick Velasquez (190, college: Union, TN) scored 24 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Charlie Daniels chipped in 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. The best for the losing side was Jamal McCoy (196-1993, college: Bluefield St.) with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. New Bayazet moved-up to fifth place. Supersonics at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. New Bayazet will play against Cilicia (#6) in Yerevan in the next round. Supersonics will play on the road against the league’s leader Vahakni City and hope to get finally their first victory.

Vahakni City will meet at home bottom-ranked Supersonics (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. New Bayazet will play against Cilicia (#6) in Yerevan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
New Bayazet – Vahakni City 82-110
The game in supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Vahakni City (5-2) played at the court of 6th ranked New Bayazet (3-4). Vahakni City smashed New Bayazet 110-82 on Wednesday. Vahakni City dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to New Bayazet’s 38 and made 29-of-35 free shots (82.9 percent) during the game, while New Bayazet only scored eight points from the stripe. They outrebounded New Bayazet 44-28 including a 36-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Nigerian-Italian center Peter Olisemeka (207-1991) notched a double-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks to lead the effort and Albert Tatevosyan (196-1993) supported him with 31 points and 5 rebounds.
