There were just three rounds played in Regular Season of BasketLigaen and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most surprising game was a loss of Vaerlose (2-1) at the home court on Friday night. Hosts were rolled over by Randers (1-1) 109-80. Randers dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Vaerlose’s 32 and made 28-of-35 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Vaerlose 48-31 including a 39-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. 27 personal fouls committed by Vaerlose helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American-Jamaican power forward Reginald Kissoonlal (213-96, college: Marian, IN, agency: One Motive Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The former international forward Chris Nielsen (193-85) contributed with 24 points for the winners. Guard Mikkel Hauge (193-99, college: Seattle) answered with 15 points and 6 rebounds for Vaerlose. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Randers are looking forward to face Svendborg at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vaerlose will play against Wolfpack in Herlev and is hoping to win this game.
Naestved (3-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat Horsens IC (0-3) 91-77. It was a great evening for American guard Brevin Pritzl (191-96, college: Wisconsin, agency: GoEmpire Group) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 5 assists. Bubu Palo helped adding 18 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was American guard Khalil Ahmad (191-96, college: CS Fullerton, agency: Slash Sports) with 32 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Naestved will play against Copenhagen (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Horsens IC will have a break next round.
The game in Copenhagen supposed to be also quite interesting. Svendborg (3-0) played at the court of Copenhagen (1-2). Svendborg smashed Copenhagen 97-74 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for Tyre Gathright who led the winners and scored 24 points. Carlo Urne came up with 23 points for Copenhagen in the defeat. Svendborg will meet Randers (#5) on the road in the next round. Copenhagen will play against Naestved and hope to win that game.

In the last two games of round 3 Wolfpack lost to undefeated Bakken on the road 69-106. Winless Amager lost to BAC on its own court 83-96.
The most impressive performance of 3rd round was 21 points and 8 rebounds by Jordan Dallas of Amager.
