Talented Aboubacar Magassa (194-F-2004) had a great game in the last round for league’s leader Roanne and that’s him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 9.
The 18-year old forward had a double-double of 21 points and ten rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league’s bottom-ranked team Paris BA (#18, 0-10) with 28-point margin 111-83. It allowed Roanne to jump to the first place in the French ProA U21. Roanne have a solid 7-1 record. In the team’s last game Magassa had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Roanne’s top player in his first season with the team. Aboubacar Magassa averages this season 12.9ppg and 6.0rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was young power forward Zati Loubaki (200-PF-2004) of Gravelines. Loubaki impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds. Of course Gravelines cruised to a 82-74 relatively comfortable win over the higher-ranked Pau-Lacq-Orthez (#8, 5-4). Gravelines’ 16th position in the standings has not changed. 8 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Gravelines managed to get this year. Loubaki is a newcomer at Gravelines and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team’s leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Kevan Moreno (200-F-2002) of Paris BA (#18). Moreno got into 30-points club by scoring 36 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds . Despite Moreno’s great performance Paris BA lost 69-96 to the higher-ranked Monaco (#15, 4-5). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Paris BA can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 10 games. Moreno has a very solid season. In 10 games in France he scored 14.6ppg.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
