Defending champion Titanes-de-Barranquilla (Liga WPlay) agreed terms with 33-year old Venezuelan-Spanish international swingman Jhornan Zamora (196cm-1989) for new 2023 season. Zamora played this summer at Trotamundos in Venezuelan SPB league. In 23 games just recently he had 13.1ppg, 5.2rpg and 3.3apg. He helped them to win the league title. 2022-22 was a great season as he was voted Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan SPB Finals MVP. The last season he played at Saint Quentin in French ProB where in 35 games he recorded 11.9ppg, 3.9rpg, 2.5apg and 1.7spg. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week.
Zamora has been also a member of Venezuelan international program for some years. He has regularly played for Venezuelan senior team since 2012 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2005.
Zamora represented Venezuela at the World Cup in China three years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 7.8ppg, 1.2rpg, 1.0apg, FGP: 35.7%, 3PT: 30.0%, FT: 66.7%.
He is quite experienced player. Zamora has played also professionally in Chile (Puerto Montt), Paraguay (Sol de America), Spain (Ourense, Valladolid and Palencia), France (ALM Evreux) and Colombia (Cimarrones).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was also selected Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan LPB Most Improved Player of the Year back in 2014.
