This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Fyllingen (5-3) to eighth ranked Oppsal (3-6) 78-75 on Saturday evening. Oppsal had a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for American center Jacob Tryon (211-1998, college: Samford) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 15 rebounds. Guard Thomas Ble (185-1989) contributed with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Oppsal’s coach Jarl Jespersen used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Devin Gilligan (196-1993, college: SNHU) replied with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds for Fyllingen. Despite that victory Oppsal went down to ninth position due to points difference. Fyllingen at the other side dropped to the third place with three games lost. Oppsal are looking forward to face higher ranked Tromso (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. An interesting game for Kongsberg (9-0) which hosted in Kongsberg 3rd ranked Baerum Basket (5-4). Top-ranked Kongsberg had an easy win 66-38. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Baerum Basket. Forward Aly Hudgins (201-1993, college: ECU) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Xavier Green chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Even 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) by Tor Ringen did not help to save the game for Nidaros Jets. Nidaros Jets’ coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Defending champion maintains first position with 10-1 record. Loser Nidaros Jets keep the tenth place with nine games lost. Gimle will meet at home bottom-ranked Asker Aliens (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Nidaros Jets will play against Fyllingen and hope to secure a win.

Even a double-double of 20 points, 16 rebounds and 8 assists by American guard John Knight III (190, college: SUU) did not help to save the game for Froya Basket. American-British swingman Skyler White (203-1993, college: PLNU) added 30 points and 5 rebounds. Five Froya Basket players scored in double figures. Tromso moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Baerum Basket. Froya Basket lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with four games lost.
