American Jaylen Hands (191-G-1999) had a great game in the last round for PAOK and that’s him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 23-year old guard had the game-high 25 points adding five rebounds for PAOK in his team’s victory, helping them to edge out Ionikos (#9, 1-3) 82-78. PAOK maintains the 4th position in Greek GBL. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost that single game earlier this season. PAOK will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. Hands turned to be PAOK’s top player in his first season with the team. University of California at Los Angeles graduate has very impressive stats this year. Hands is in league’s top in points (4th best: 18.3ppg) and averages solid 56.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was young international center Loukas Mavrokefalidis (207-C-1984) of Ionikos. Mavrokefalidis impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 30 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Ionikos was edged by the higher-ranked PAOK (#4, 3-1) 82-78. This loss caused Ionikos to drop to 9th position in the standings. 3 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Ionikos managed to get this year. Mavrokefalidis is well-known by Ionikos fans and he already established his position as one of team’s most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American A.J. Davis (206-G/F-1995) of Apollon P. (#10). Davis scored 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Despite Davis’ great performance Apollon P. lost 71-77 to the higher-ranked Peristeri (#7, 2-2). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Davis has individually a great season in Greece. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in rebounds with 7.0rpg (9th best).

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
