CSM-Targu-Jiu (Liga Nationala) added to their roster 26-year old Greek center Thomas Kottas (206cm-1996). Kottas already started the season at Karditsas in Greek GBL league. In two games he had 3.0ppg and 2.5rpg.
He represented Greece at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 Division B in Chalkida (Greece) six years ago. Kottas’ team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 8 games: 10.3ppg, 6.1rpg, Blocks-4 (2.1bpg), FGP: 50.8%, FT: 62.1%.
Kottas has played also professionally for other Greek teams like Aris, PAOK Thessaloniki, Ionikos Nikaias, Rethymno and Holargos. His team made it to the Greek Final Four in 2015 and 2016.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 Division B Honorable Mention back in 2016.
