American forward James Murray-Boyles (201-1997, college: UNCP, agency: Players Group) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Jonatan Arvidsson (184-1998, college: E.Wyoming) who recorded 22 points and 7 assists. BC Lulea’s coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn’t help. Norrkoping have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place. BC Lulea at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. Norrkoping are looking forward to face Umea (#5) on the road in the next round. Important game to mention about took place in Koping. Third ranked Koping Stars (6-2) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 5th ranked Nassjo (3-2) 81-79 on Tuesday evening. It was a good game for forward Oliver Gehrke (201-2000, college: UC Davis) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). KeShawn Curry contributed with 25 points and 4 assists for the winners. American center Dartaye Ruffin (205-1991, college: Drexel) answered with 24 points and 9 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for Nassjo. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Koping Stars have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Nassjo at the other side dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. Koping Stars will play against league’s leader Boras on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Nassjo will play against BC Lulea (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
A very close game took place in Umea between Umea and Jamtland. Sixth ranked Umea (4-2) got a very close home victory over 8th ranked Jamtland (2-4). Umea managed to escape with a 3-point win 79-76 on Tuesday evening. Gustav Hansson stepped up and scored 26 points and 4 assists for the winners. The best for the losing side was RT Guinn with 16 points. Jamtland’s coach Adnan Cuk tested ten players, but that didn’t help to avoid defeat in this game. Umea moved-up to fifth place. Jamtland lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with four games lost. Umea will meet at home higher ranked Norrkoping (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Jamtland will play against Kalmar (#11) and hope to secure a win.
In the last two games of round 9 Sodertalje defeated Fryshuset in a road game 81-69. Winless Kalmar lost to undefeated Boras at home 57-76.

There was no surprise in Stockholm where bottom-ranked Fryshuset (0-4) was defeated by eighth ranked Sodertalje (3-5) 81-69 on Tuesday. Sodertalje made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. American-Nigerian forward Stephen Ugochukwu (201-1996, college: McNeese St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and Serbian Lazar Radosavljevic (204-1991) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. Ugochukwu is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Sodertalje players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American swingman T.J. Dunans (196-1992, college: Auburn) with 19 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 blocks and Jamaican-Canadian point guard Jahmal Jones (185-1991, college: Ryerson) scored 16 points and 6 assists.
