#1. This week’s number one is former international power forward Sergiy Pavlov (209-1997, currently plays in LAT-EST BL). He was the major contributor in Parnu‘s victory against the seventh-ranked BK Ogre (2-2) 85-71 in the Lat-Est BL in Saturday night’s game.
Pavlov recorded 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in 35 minutes on the court.

He was MVP of the game. Pustovyi recorded 16 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Universidad Catolica de Murcia CB (1-2) is placed third in the Liga Endesa.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.

#3. The Ukrainian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international power forward Andrii Voinalovych (207-1999, currently plays in LAT-EST BL). Voinalovych could not help Tartu (3-1) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Tartu was badly defeated 89-69 at home by the lower-ranked (#10) Keila.
Voinalovych was the top scorer with 23 points in 26 minutes.
They ended the series of three consecutive victories.

#4. Point guard Oleksandr Kovliar (188-2002, currently plays in LAT-EST BL) was not able to help Kalev/Cramo (2-2) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his good performance Kalev/Cramo was edged 73-70 on the road by the lower-ranked Viimsi (#13).
Kovliar recorded 12 points and added 3 passes.

Former University international power forward Volodymyr Shevchenko (200-1994, another player represented by BIG, currently plays in LAT-EST BL) couldn’t help Tarvas in their game against Prometey in the Lat-Est BL. Despite his very good performance on Sunday night He was the top scorer with 19 points. Shevchenko also added 5 rebounds.

He recorded 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 17 minutes. It was his first game for Maccabi Rishon this season.
His team is placed fifth in the National League.

Nesterenko has a dual citizenship: Ukrainian and Israeli.
Despite his Ukrainian passport, Nesterenko previously played for the Israeli U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Ukrainian team.
#2. Danilo Sokolenko (203-F-1999, currently plays in Lithuania). Sokolenko could not help Palanga (1-3) to beat Vytis (2-0).
