Stella Artois Leuven Bears (Pro Basketball League) added to their roster 25-year old American 183cm point guard Jahmal McMurray (college: SMU). McMurray played this summer at CDP Domingo Paulino Santiago in Santiago League in Dominican Republic.
Three years ago he was drafted by Northern Arizona Suns (G-League) in first round (21st overall).
The former Southern Methodist University star is in his fourth season in pro basketball.
He has played previously professionally in Turkey (Ankara Anadolu Basket) and NBA G League (Texas Legends and Long Island Nets).
McMurray was voted to AAC All-Rookie Team back in 2016.
Leuven has 3 players on the sidelines with injuries, so they added McMurray till at least end of 2022.
