#1. This week’s number one is former University international shooting guard Ferdinand Zylka (191-1998, currently plays in BNXT-League). He led his Belgian team Circus Brussels to a victory over the tenth-ranked Kangoeroes (0-1) 81-73 in the BNXT League last Sunday.
Zylka was MVP of the game. He recorded 22 points and added 3 assists. It was his first game for Circus Brussels this season.

#2. Second place goes to former international point guard Justus Hollatz (191-2001, agency: BeoBasket, currently plays in Spain). He contributed to a Rio Breogan‘s victory against the closely-ranked Murcia (1-2) 84-70 in the Spanish Liga Endesa on Thursday night.
Hollatz recorded 10 points and added 3 assists in 26 minutes.

He scored 7 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and made 2 blocks.
FC Barcelona Lassa (3-0) is placed first in the Liga Endesa.

#7. Former international center Gavin Schilling (206-1995, college: Michigan St., currently plays in Basketball Champions League) could not help one of league’s weakest teams Limoges CSP Elite (0-1) in their last game. Despite Schilling’s good performance Limoges CSP Elite was edged 76-73 on the road by the second-ranked Manresa.
He recorded 10 points in 26 minutes. It was his first game for Limoges CSP Elite this season.

#8. Guard Robert Zinn (197-1995, currently plays in Switzerland) was not able to help Lugano (0-1) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance Lugano were badly defeated 98-82 at home by the higher-ranked Massagno (#3).
Zinn was the top scorer with 19 points. He also added 4 rebounds and 9 assists. It was his first game for Lugano this season.

#1. Nihad Djedovic (197-SF-1990, agency: BeoBasket, currently plays in Spain) could not help Unicaja (2-1) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Unicaja lost 89-103 on the road to the much lower-ranked (#10) Baskonia.
Djedovic was the top scorer with 20 points. He also added 5 assists and 3 steals in 30 minutes.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
Djedovic has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 15.5ppg, 5.5rpg, 4.5apg and 1.5spg in two games he played so far.
Djedovic has a dual citizenship: Bosnia and Herzegovina and German.
#2. Dylan Osetkowski (206-F-1996, also represented by BeoBasket, college: Texas, currently plays in Basketball Champions League) is a teammate of previously mentioned Nihad Djedovic. But that was another game of his team in Basketball Champions League which we would like to mention.
Osetkowski led his Spanish team Unicaja to a victory against the closely-ranked Sassari (0-1) 87-76.
He recorded 17 points and grabbed 7 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it’s only Osetkowski’s first season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Unicaja Malaga (1-0) is placed second in the Basketball Champions League.
Osetkowski has relatively good stats this season: 13.0ppg and 4.7rpg.
He is a naturalized American.
Osetkowski used to play for BG Goettingen in German league.
#3. Ryan Kriener (208-C-1998, college: Iowa, currently plays in Japan) was the major contributor in a Ehime OV‘s victory against the fourth-ranked Kagawa FA (1-1) crushing them 98-72 in the Japanese B2 League on Saturday night.
Kriener recorded 25 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 24 minutes; not bad, considering it’s only his first season in pro basketball. Ehime Orange Vikings (1-1) are placed second in West group.
There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
Kriener has very impressive stats this year: 25.0ppg, 9.0rpg and 1.5apg in two games.

Strangely Kriener has never played in Germany.
#4. Christian von Fintel (190-G-1990, currently plays in Austria) contributed to a 3-point Raiffeisen Flyers Wels‘ victory against the tenth-ranked Dukes (0-1) 80-77 in the Austrian BSL in Sunday night’s game.
He recorded 10 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. It was his first game for Raiffeisen Flyers Wels this season.
His team are placed sixth in the BSL.

#5. Leon Radosevic (208-C-1990, another player represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in Italy) managed to help Derthona Basket Tortona to win against the closely-ranked Trento (1-2) 76-70 in the Italian Serie A on Sunday night.
He recorded only 2 points. It was his first game for Tortona this season.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. His team is placed first in the Serie A.

#6. Andrija Matic (208-F-1996, college: Keiser, currently plays in Switzerland) was not able to help Starwings (0-1) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Starwings lost 85-95 on the opponent’s court to the leading Boncourt.
Matic had a double-double by scoring 27 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 4 assists in 40 minutes. It was his first game for Starwings this season.
Matic has both Serbian and German nationalities.
Despite his German passport, Matic previously played for the Serbian university national team and is probably not eligible to play for the German team.
#7. Joao Eduardo (200-F-2002, currently plays in Czech Republic) contributed to an USK Praha‘s victory against the sixth-ranked NH Ostrava 88-78 in the Czech Republic NBL on Wednesday night.
He scored only 2 points in 7 minutes on the court. It was his first game for USK Praha this season.
Eduardo also holds two passports: German and Czech Republic.
#8. Julian Jasinski (201-F-1996, currently plays in Poland) was not able to secure a victory for Sokol in their game against Anwil in the Polish EBL.
He scored 7 points. It was his first game for Sokol this season.
His team was badly defeated by 18 points 85-67.
Jasinski has dual citizenship: German and Polish.
#9. Experienced Isaiah Philmore (203-F-1989, college: Xavier, currently plays in Hungary) couldn’t help Alba in their game against Atomeromu in the Hungarian A Division.
