27-year old forward Dustin Thomas (203-F-1995) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Prishtina and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
He had the game-high 32 points adding seven rebounds and three assists for Prishtina in his team’s victory, helping them to crush Vellaznimi (#6, 1-2) with 18-point margin 99-81. Prishtina is placed at 3rd position in Kosovan league. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost that single game earlier this season. Prishtina will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. In the team’s last game Thomas had a remarkable 76.9% from 2-point range. He turned to be Prishtina’s top player in his first season with the team. The University of Arkansas graduate has very impressive stats this year. Thomas is league’s best scorer averaging so far 23.5ppg. Thomas is in league’s top in and averages solid 78.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Wayne Arnold (193-G) of Prizreni. He is American guard in his first season at Prizreni. In the last game Arnold recorded impressive 33 points and 5 rebounds. Of course Prizreni cruised to a 101-93 relatively comfortable win over Bashkimi (1-2). The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let’s wait for the next round. Arnold is a newcomer at Prizreni and quickly became one of team’s most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.3ppg (#5). He also registered 4.7 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to center Bradley Waldow (208-C-1991) of league’s leader Peja. Waldow scored 15 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Peja, leading his team to a 73-57 easy win against Ylli (#8, 0-3). Peja started extremely well this year. They recorded 3 victories without losing a single game. Waldow turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Waldow has a great season in Kosovo. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in rebounds with 8.7rpg (6th best).

5. Drilon Hajrizi (202-PF-1991) of Trepca – 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists
6. Dachon Burke (193-G-1997) of Prizreni – 21 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Fahro Alihodzic (208-C-1989) of Bashkimi – 21 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Chris Seeley (203-F) of Rahoveci – 19 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Meriton Ismaili (193-SF-2000) of Prizreni – 17 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Altin Morina (192-PG-1992) of Bashkimi – 19 points and 7 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
