Dayon Griffin

Kaposvari KK (A Division) signed 26-year old American guard Dayon Griffin (196cm-86kg-1995, college: UCF) for upcoming 2022-23 season. Griffin played last season at Apoel in Cypriot OPAP Basket League. He managed to play in three leagues in three countries last year. In 16 OPAP Basket League games he had 14.8ppg, 3.8rpg, 4.5apg and 1.3spg. Griffin helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also advanced to the league semifinals. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week. He also played for Apollon in Greek GBL. But in 6 games he recorded just 1.3ppg. The other team he played that season for was Ternopil-TNEU in Ukrainian Superleague where in 9 games he averaged 13.8ppg, 3.0rpg, 3.3apg and 1.0spg.
Griffin has played on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Kosovo (Feronikeli), Poland (HydroTruck) and United Arab Emirates (Al Ain).
His team won C-USA Regular Season in 2015.
Griffin graduated from University of Central Florida in 2019 and it will be his fourth season as a professional player.
