Surrey Scorchers (BBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 26-year old 210cm power forward Radwan Bakkali (college: Indianapolis) for season 2022-23. Bakkali played most recently at Cheshire Phoenix. In 21 BBL games he recorded 3.3ppg and 1.6rpg last season.
The previous (2020-21) season he played at Cestistica Ostuni (Serie C) in Italian league.
He has played also professionally in Germany (ETB Miners).
Among many awards his team made it to the A-Sun Tournament Semifinals in 2018. Bakkali was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Regionalliga West Honorable Mention in 2020.
He graduated from University of Indianapolis in 2019 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball.
