Elias Lasisi

MLP Academics Heidelberg (BBL) signed 30-year old Belgian ex-international swingman Elias Lasisi (191cm-85kg-1992) for upcoming 2022-23 season. He has played for the last two years at HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim in the BBL. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 28 BBL games he had 8.3ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.3apg last season. Lasisi helped them to make it to the cup final. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week. He also played 11 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he recorded 7.5ppg, 2.3rpg and 1.1apg. Lasisi contributed to his team making it to the quarterfinals.
He was a member of Belgian international program for some years. Lasisi was called to Belgian Senior National Team between 2014 and 2018 and previously for U20 National Team back in 2012.
He has played also professionally in France (Le Portel), Germany (Brose Bamberg and BG Goettingen) and Belgium (Oostende, Leuven Bears, Kangoeroes, St-Niklase and Limburg United). Lasisi won Belgian League championship title in 2018 and 2019 and the Supercup in 2018 and 2019. He was voted to Belgian All-Star Game back in 2018 and 2019.
