Lien Phillip

Lille Metropole Basket Red Giants (ProB) landed 32-year old Canadian-Vincentian ex-international 203cm forward Lien Phillip (college: Windsor) for new season. Phillip is a well-known player in French ProB as he played most recently at Quimper UJAP. In 33 ProB games in France he averaged 9.9ppg, 4.9rpg and 1.4apg last season. He helped them to make it to the French ProB Leaders Cup Semifinals.
His team was regular season runner-up in OUA West Division in 2011 and 2014. Phillip voted toAll-OUA West Division Player of the Year back in 2013 and 2014.
The previous (2020-21) season he played at Saint Quentin where in 33 ProB games he had 12.6ppg, 6.6rpg and 1.2apg in that year. Good season as he was selected League Player of the Week (2 times).
He was a member of Canadian international program for some years. Phillip was called to Canadian Senior National Team back in 2011 and previously for University National Team in 2011.
He has played previously professionally also in Australia (Suns) and France (Lourdes Tarbes, Prisse Macon, Vitre, JSA Bordeaux and Ardres).
Phillip graduated from University of Windsor in 2014 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
