Stella Azzurra Roma (Serie A2) re-signed 23-year old Serbian 201cm shooting guard Lazar Nikolic (college: Colorado), agency: BeoBasket for season 2022-23. Nikolic is the second import player in the roster as USA Duane Wilson signed here earlier.
He has played there for the last two seasons.
He represented Serbia at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U18 in Samsun (Turkey) six years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 2.7ppg, 2.7rpg, 1.3apg, 1.0spg.
He has played previously for Italian team Roseto.
Among many awards he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie B Honorable Mention back in 2017.
Nikolic attended University of Colorado until 2019 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball.
