Alex Hamilton
Juventus Utenos (LKL) landed 28-year old American 193cm point guard Alex Hamilton (college: Louisiana Tech) for new season. It is actually his comeback to Utena as he has played here before. Hamilton played most recently at H.Eilat in Israeli Winner League, but left. In three games he averaged 7.3ppg, 5.7rpg and 1.7apg last season. He also played 1 game in FIBA Europe Cup where he had 11 points, 2 assists and 2 steals.
The most of previous (2020-21) season he spent at Telekom Baskets in German BBL. In 16 games he recorded 10.4ppg, 3.1rpg, 3.3apg and 1.9spg (leader !!!) in that year. The other team he played that season for was Galatasaray in Turkish BSL. In 9 games he got 11.9ppg, 3.4rpg, 4.2apg and 1.4spg in that year. Hamilton also played 3 games in Basketball Champions League where he got 8.7ppg, 3.0rpg and 4.0apg in that year.
In 2016 Oklahoma City Blue voted him as third overall pick in D-League draft.
The former Louisiana Tech University standout is in his seventh season in pro basketball.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Hamilton is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Poland (MKS DG), NBA (GS Warriors) and NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors and Windy City Bulls).
Among many awards he played in the final of Israeli Premier League in 2019. Hamilton received All-C-USA Player of the Year award and was selected to C-USA All-Defensive Team back in 2016.
