Defending champion Falco-Vulcano Energia KC Szombathely (A Division) landed 28-year old Serbian ex-international 194cm guard Stefan Pot for new season. Pot played most recently at Kolossos H Hotels Rodou in Greek GBL league. In 26 games he averaged 8.0ppg, 3.7rpg and 4.8apg last season. He can count that year as a very successful as was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Greek A1 Honorable Mention.
The previous (2020-21) season he played at Igokea in Bosnia and Potrzegovina Division I. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 9 Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I games he had 5.4ppg, 1.7rpg and 4.9apg in that year. He helped them to win the cup and end the regular season at the top position. He also played 26 games in ABA League where he recorded 8.0ppg, 2.3rpg and 3.3apg in that year. Pot also played 13 games in Basketball Champions League where he got 4.3ppg, 1.9rpg and 3.4apg in that year.
He was also a member of Serbian international program for some years. Pot played for Serbian Senior National Team two years ago and previously for U20 National Team back in 2014.
He represented Serbia at the World University Games in Gwangju (South Korea) seven years ago. His stats at that event were 8 games: 10.8ppg, 7.5rpg, Assists-4 (3.9apg), 1.6spg, FGP: 39.0%, 3PT: 40.0%, FT: 71.8%.
Pot has played previously professionally in Romania and Serbia (KK Partizan NiS Beograd, Spartak, KK Metalac Farmakom Valjevo, KK Mladost MaxBet Zemun and Crvena Zvezda).
He won Romanian League championship title in 2015.
