Defending champion ERA Basketball Nymburk (NBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 23-year old American ex-international 208cm center Nate Watson for upcoming season. Watson just graduated from Providence (NCAA). He has played there for the last five years. Watson helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in NCAA1. They also advanced to the league semifinals. Great season indeed as he was voted to All-Big East Second Team and NABC Division I All-District 5 Second Team.
He was one of the highest ranked players in high school in 2017. Watson’s high school career he had spent at Bishop Denis J. O’Connell in Arlington, VA.
Watson also represented USA at the Panamerican Games in Lima (Peru) three years ago. His team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 3 games: 3.7ppg, 2.0rpg.
Of course it will be Watson’s first season in professional basketball.
