London Lions (BBL) inked 32-year old Czech international 202cm forward Vojtech Hruban for upcoming season. Hruban has played for the last ten years at ERA Basketball Nymburk in NBL league in Czech Republic. In 45 games he averaged impressive 15.5ppg, 3.9rpg, 2.1apg and 1.3spg last season. He also played 6 games in Basketball Champions League where he had 13.7ppg, 6.0rpg, 2.7apg and 1.3spg.
Hruban has been also a member of Czech Republic international program for some years. He has regularly played for Czech Republic senior team since 2020 and previously for U20 National Team back in 2010.
Hruban also represented Czech Republic at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) five years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 11.8ppg, 3.4rpg, 1.6apg, 1.4spg, FGP: 45.9%, 3PT: 30.0%, FT: 87.5%.
He has played also professionally in Czech Republic (USK Praha).

Vojtech is an ideal prototype of modern small forward. Hruban is very athletic and has exceptional jumping abilities, which he uses in one-on-one game and in fast breaks. For his opponents he is also very dangerous with middle and long range shooting, so he is very difficult to read for his defenders. He also uses his physical ‘equipment’ in his defensive play and he is often sent on the floor by his coach with an asset to guard best scorers from the opposing teams. Vojtech is very goal-directed and hardworking, which can be seen in his steeply rising form. Hruban is also very intelligent and along basketball, he manages to study at a university as well. Thanks to that, he was able to represent his country at the World University Games during the summer of 2011, where he was one of the key players of the czech team.
