ASP Promitheas Patras (GBL) inked 24-year old American 183cm point guard Anthony Cowan Jr. (college: Maryland) for upcoming season. Cowan played most recently at Aris. In 26 GBL games in Greece he averaged 14.5ppg, 2.8rpg, 5.6apg (top 3) and 1.4spg last season. The last summer he was tested by the Grizzlies in NBA.
Last year (a year after his graduation) he was drafted by Memphis Hustle (G-League) in first round (16th overall).
The former University of Maryland star is in his third season in pro basketball.
