GS Lavrio Aegean Cargo (GBL) agreed terms with 23-year old American swingman Savion Flagg (201cm-101kg-1999, agency: Green Sports Management) for new 2022-2023 season. Flagg just graduated from Sam Houston State University (NCAA). In 32 games he had very impressive stats: 18.6ppg, 8.2rpg and 2.2apg last season. He helped them to make it to the Lou Flaggnson National Player of the Year Award final.
He started his college career at Texas A&M University (NCAA) where he played four seasons.
Flagg was one of the highest ranked players in high school in 2017. Flagg’s high school career he had spent at Alvin in Alvin, TX.
He represented USA at the Albert Schweitzer International Tournament in Mannheim (Unofficial World Championships U18) six years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 1.7ppg, 3.7rpg, 2.7apg.
As mentioned above he is just out of college, so it will be Flagg’s first season as a professional player.
