Aleksa Radanov
Peristeri Vitabiotics Athens (GBL) added to their roster 24-year old Serbian international swingman Aleksa Radanov (201cm-1998, agency: BeoBasket) for new 2022-2023 season. Radanov played last season at Igokea in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I. He managed to play in three leagues last year. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 28 ABA League games he recorded 8.2ppg, 3.7rpg and 3.4apg. He also played 10 games in Division I where he averaged 9.2ppg, 3.4rpg, 3.7apg and 1.5spg. Radanov helped them to win the league title and the cup. And finally he contributed to 9 games in Basketball Champions League where he had 7.1ppg, 4.2rpg and 1.8apg. The last season he played at Crvena Zvezda in Serbian KLS. Similarly like in the last season, the team also played in three different competitions that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 7 Serbian KLS games he got 8.7ppg, 3.3rpg, 2.6apg and 1.1spg in 2020-2021 season. He contributed to his team winning the league title. Radanov also played 14 games in Euroleague where he got just 2.9ppg and 1.4rpg. And finally he contributed to 13 games in ABA League where he got only 2.8ppg and 1.2rpg.
He has been also a member of Serbian international program for some years. Radanov has regularly played for Serbian senior team since 2020 and previously for U19 National Team back in 2015.
He represented Serbia at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Chemnitz (Germany) four years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 12.3ppg, 3.3rpg, 2.3apg, 1.0spg, FGP: 71.4%, 3PT: 31.3%, FT: 55.0%.
Radanov has played also professionally in Serbia (KK FMP Beograd).
