Tylor Ongwae
Parma Basket Perm (VTB) landed 31-year old Kenyan international 201cm forward Tylor Ongwae (college: ULM) for new season. Ongwae has played for the last four years at Bakken in Danish BasketLigaen. In 31 games he averaged 11.0ppg, 4.5rpg, 2.0apg and 1.3spg last season. He helped them to win the league title. Ongwae also played 16 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he had 8.9ppg, 2.8rpg and 1.5apg. He contributed to his team making it to the FIBA Europe Cup Semifinals.
Ongwae represented Kenya at the CBI Championship Finalist seven years ago.
He is a very experienced player. Ongwae has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to four different countries on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Italy (Avellino), New Zealand (Airs), Sweden (SBBK and Solna Vikings) and Switzerland (Massagno).
Ongwae graduated from University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2015 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
