Rudy Gobert
Minnesota Timberwolves (NBA) landed 30-year old French international 7-1 center Rudy Gobert. Gobert has played for the last eight years at Utah Jazz. In 72 NBA games in USA he averaged impressive 15.3ppg, 14.5rpg (leader !!!), 1.0apg and 2.0bpg last season. He helped them to win the Northwest Division title. A very good season in his career as he was voted to NBA All-Star Game.
In 2013 he was drafted by Denver Nuggets in first round (27th overall).
Gobert has been also a member of French international program for some years. He has regularly played for French senior team since 2020 and previously for U20 National Team back in 2012.
Gobert represented France at the Olympic Games in Tokyo (Japan) last year. His team won Silver and his stats at that event were 6 games: 12.2ppg, Reb-4 (9.3rpg), 1.2apg, FGP: 63.6%, FT: 54.8%.
He has played also professionally in France (Cholet Basket).
