Fukuoka Rizing (B2 League) landed 28-year old American 196cm point guard Marvelle Harris (college: Fresno State), agency: Slash Sports for new season. Harris played most recently at Bakken in Danish BasketLigaen. In 31 games he averaged 13.8ppg, 3.2rpg, 3.7apg and 2.0spg last season. He helped them to win the league title and they also made it to the Cup final. Harris also played 15 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he had very impressive stats: 15.3ppg, 1.8rpg, 2.5apg and 1.1spg. He contributed to his team making it to the FIBA Europe Cup Semifinals. Harris ended the previous (2020-2021) season at Al Ettehad (Superleague) in Egyptian league. He contributed to his team winning the Cup and make to league final. But the most of that year he spent at Kumamoto Volters in Japanese B2 League. In 19 games he recorded also remarkable stats: 17.4ppg, 6.4rpg, 4.6apg and 2.6spg.
Harris represented USA at the CBI Championship Finalist eight years ago.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life on five different continents. Harris is familiar with European, Asian, Australian, African and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Australia (Illawarra Hawks), Belgium (Limburg United), Lebanon (Beirut Club, Moutahed and Louaize), United Arab Emirates (Al Sharjah) and The Basketball Tournament (Team Challenge ALS).
Harris graduated from Fresno State in 2016 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
