An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Aarhus. Third ranked Bakken faced one of their biggest challengers Randers. Host Bakken (20-8) defeated guests from Randers (19-9) 72-68. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Randers. Bakken made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. International guard Darko Jukic (199-1990) fired 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American forward Urald King (198-1990, college: SE Oklahoma) chipped in 18 points. American guard Avery Anderson III (190-2000, college: TCU) produced 13 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Horsens IC. Randers at the other side keep the fourth position with nine games lost. They share it with Naestved. Bakken is looking forward to face Naestved (#5) on the road in the next round. Randers will play against the league’s leader Svendborg and are hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
The game in Copenhagen was also worth to mention about. 4th ranked Naestved (19-9) played at the court of sixth ranked Copenhagen (9-19). Copenhagen managed to secure a 8-point victory 112-104. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international David Knudsen (195-1994, college: Marist, agency: Players Group) who helped to win the game recording 41 points (!!!) and 4 assists. Martin Poulsen contributed with 25 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Haitian guard David Jean-Baptiste (195-1998, college: Chattanooga) replied with 22 points and 4 assists for Naestved. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Copenhagen maintains sixth position with 9-19 record. Naestved lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Randers. Copenhagen will play against league’s second-placed Horsens IC at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Naestved will play against Bakken and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Herlev. Oscar Quackenbush scored 30 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners. At the losing side Silas Braikia responded with 21 points and 4 assists. Herlev’s coach Erez Bittman rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Amager maintains seventh position with 11-15 record. Loser Herlev keeps the ninth place with 19 games lost. They share the position with Vaerlose. Amager will meet bottom-ranked BAC (#11) in the next round. Herlev will play against Holbaek and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
In the last game of round 10 bottom-ranked BAC was defeated by Vaerlose in a road game 104-93.

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 11th ranked BAC‘s (4-22) road loss to tenth ranked Vaerlose (8-19) 93-104 on Saturday. Vaerlose dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to BAC‘s 46. Vaerlose looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Willas Moller (196-2006) scored 26 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Ogbemudia Uagboe (192-2005) chipped in 25 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. At the losing side forward Tobias Hemmersam (195) responded with 9 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Filip Ates (186-2004) scored 11 points and 5 assists. Four BAC players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Vaerlose moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Herlev. BAC lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 22 lost games. Vaerlose will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. BAC will play against Amager (#7) and hope to secure a win.
