There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in KLS. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game between third ranked Mladost (19-10) and eighth ranked Radnicki KG (16-13) was the most important one in the last round on Friday night. Mladost was defeated by Radnicki KG in a tough game in Kragujevac 93-100. Radnicki KG made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Mladost helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was forward Dimitrije Maric (199-2000) who had a double-double by scoring 31 points and 27 rebounds. Djuro Dautovic (200-2001) chipped in 19 points and 8 assists. Forward Ognjen Matovic (197-2004) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists for the guests. Mladost ZE’s coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn’t help. Newly promoted Radnicki KG maintains eighth place with 16-13 record. Mladost at the other side dropped to the fifth position with ten games lost. Radnicki KG are looking forward to face higher ranked Joker (#6) in Sombor in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Mladost will play at home against the league’s second-placed Zlatibor and will have a slim chance for a victory.
Leader Vrsac delivered the twenty fourth victory. This time they beat 6th ranked Joker (18-11) 101-89. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Joker S.. Belarusian forward Jovan Sljivancanin (196-1999, college: Carroll, MT) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Nemanja Popovic contributed with 23 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) for the winners. American point guard Demetre Roberts (173-2000, college: FDU) answered with 34 points (!!!) for Joker. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Vrsac (24-5) have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place. Joker at the other side keeps the sixth position with 11 games lost. Vrsac will play against bottom-ranked Novi Pazar (#16) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Joker will play against Radnicki KG (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
We should mention about the upset which took place in Valjevo, where higher ranked Dynamic VP (13-16) lost to fourteenth ranked Metalac VL (9-20) in a road game 70-75 on Saturday. Mihailo Musikic stepped up and scored 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Nemanja Protic responded with 17 points. Dynamic VP’s coach Stevan Mijovic tested ten players, but that didn’t help to avoid defeat in this game. Metalac VL maintains fourteenth place with 9-20 record. Dynamic VP lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 16 games lost. They share it with BKK Radnicki. Metalac VL will meet higher ranked OKK Beograd (#7) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dynamic VP will play against Sloga and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Other games of round 29 were very predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Cacak 94 was defeated by BKK Radnicki in Beograd 83-76. Sloboda beat OKK Beograd at home 87-75. Mladost won against Sloga on the opponent’s court 85-75. Vojvodina managed to outperform Novi Pazar in a home game 91-75. Tamis PN recorded a loss to Zlatibor on the road 101-97.
The best stats of 29th round was 30 points and 6 rebounds by Marko Kovacevic of Zlatibor.


BKK Radnicki – Cacak 94 83-76

There was no surprise in Beograd where 13th ranked Cacak 94 (10-19) was defeated by tenth ranked BKK Radnicki (13-16) 83-76 on Friday. BKK Radnicki dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Cacak 94‘s 24. BKK Radnicki forced 19 Cacak 94 turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Guard Koca Jovovic (187-1993) stepped up and scored 19 points and 4 assists for the winners and swingman Marko Tofoski (194-2006) chipped in 16 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Four BKK Radnicki players scored in double figures. Point guard Vuk Radojicic (184-2001) responded with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Filip Dumic (180-1990) scored 7 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. BKK Radnicki moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Dynamic VP. Cacak 94 lost their sixth game in a row. Cacak 94 at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the thirteenth position with 19 games lost. BKK Radnicki will meet Mladost (#15) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Cacak 94 will play against Vojvodina and hope to secure a win.

No shocking result in a game in Uzice where fifth ranked Sloboda (20-9) defeated 7th ranked OKK Beograd (17-12) 87-75 on Friday. Sloboda made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Djordje Bozic (198-2001) stepped up and scored 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and forward Nikola Malesevic (202-1989, college: URI) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Sloboda U.’s coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Swingman Aleksandar Vojinovic (197-2006) responded with 15 points and 5 rebounds and Ognjen Srzentic (202-2007) scored 19 points. Five Sloboda and four OKK Beograd players scored in double figures. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Sloboda. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Vojvodina. Loser OKK Beograd keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost. Sloboda will meet Tamis PN (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. OKK Beograd will play against Metalac VL (#14) and hope to secure a win.

Guard Marko Ljubicic (195-1987) stepped up and scored 20 points for the winners and forward Filip Rebraca (206-1997, college: Iowa) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). American forward Jamicheal Morgan (194-1998) responded with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and center Dusan Bubanja (209-1999, college: Coahoma CC) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Vojvodina moved-up to third place, which they share with Sloboda. Novi Pazar lost their twenty first game in a row. They stay dead last with 28 lost games. Vojvodina will meet Cacak 94 (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Novi Pazar will play against the league’s leader Vrsac and hope to win that game.

Not a big story in a game in Cajetina where 12th ranked Tamis PN (11-18) was defeated by second ranked Zlatibor (21-8) 101-97 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Zlatibor made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Swingman Marko Kovacevic (195-1999) stepped up and scored 30 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and Brano Djukanovic (196-1995) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Zlatibor’s coach Strajin Nedovic used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Four Zlatibor and five Tamis PN players scored in double figures. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Zlatibor.
