Maurice Kemp
experienced 34-year old American 203cm power forward Maurice Kemp (college: ECU) left Giorgio Tesi Group Pistoia (Serie A). In 12 games in Italy he averaged impressive 15.3ppg, 7.8rpg and 1.6apg this season. He also played for Sturgeons (CBA) in Chinese league.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in eleven different countries playing on four different continents. Kemp is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Obras), China (Loong Lions), Estonia (Kalev/Cramo and Rapla), Greece (Panorama), Hungary (Alba), Israel (Maccabi Effie Capital Rishon Le-Zion and Bnei Kemprtzeliya), Lebanon (Tadamon), Puerto Rico (Gigantes), Spain (Fuenlabrada), Uruguay (Nacional) and NBA G League (Cleveland Charge).
Among many awards his team won Israeli Cup in 2022. He was voted to Eurobasket.com Israeli League All-Imports Team in 2023.
Kemp graduated from East Carolina University in 2013 and it is his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball. He played for other colleges like: Miami Dade College, Alabama A&M University.
