There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in Top Division II. Host teams show no mercy winning all games. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Top Division II top team – Point Chaud (18-6) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat eleventh ranked St-Truiden (9-16) in Sprimont 77-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of St-Truiden. Point Chaud maintains first place with 18-6 record. Newly promoted St-Truiden keeps the eleventh position with 16 games lost. Point Chaud are looking forward to face Oxaco (#13) in Boechout in the next round which should be an easy win for them. St-Truiden will play at home against Hasselt and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
The game in Hasselt was also worth to mention about. 4th placed Vilvoorde (14-11) played at the court of fifth ranked Hasselt (14-9). Hasselt defeated Vilvoorde 85-75. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Vilvoorde. Hasselt have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place. Vilvoorde at the other side dropped to the fifth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Namur-Beograd. Hasselt will play against St-Truiden (#11) in Sint-Truiden in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Vilvoorde will play at home against the league’s second-placed Willebroek (#2) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Tenth-ranked Asse-Ternat (9-15) was very close to win a game against eighth ranked Esneux (13-12) on Sunday. Esneux managed to secure only three-point victory 78-75. However their fans expected easier game. Esneux moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Pepinster. Asse-Ternat lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 15 games lost. Esneux will meet higher ranked Leuven Bears B (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Asse-Ternat will play against Namur-Beograd (#5) and hope to secure a win.

Other games in round 25 were not that significant. Oxaco was smashed by Namur-Beograd on the road 95-60. Willebroek won against Pepinster on its own court 83-69. Andenne was outscored by Leuven Bears B in a road game 70-48.


Hasselt – Vilvoorde 85-75

The game in Hasselt was also worth to mention about. 4th placed Vilvoorde (14-11) played at the court of fifth ranked Hasselt (14-9). Hasselt defeated Vilvoorde 85-75. Namur-Beograd moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Vilvoorde. Oxaco lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 16 games lost. They share it with Ciney. Namur-Beograd will meet Asse-Ternat (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Oxaco will play against the league’s leader Point Chaud and hope to secure a win.

Willebroek – Pepinster 83-69

Very expected game when 6th ranked Pepinster (13-12) lost on the road to second ranked Willebroek (18-7) 83-69 on Saturday. Willebroek have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 18-7 record having just one point less than leader L’9 Flenu. Loser Pepinster dropped to the seventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with Esneux. Willebroek will meet Vilvoorde (#6) on the road in the next round. Pepinster will play against Ciney and hope to secure a win.

Esneux – Asse-Ternat 78-75

Leuven Bears B will meet at home Esneux (#8) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Andenne will play against Guco Lier B (#9) and hope to secure a win.
