The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Trabzonspor (23-7) on the court of seventh ranked Gaziantep on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by Gaziantep 87-84. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Trabzonspor. Forward Utku Yucedag (198-1994) had a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Kaan Sariaslan (192-1997) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists during the contest. Gaziantep’s coach Ali Yildirim used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American point guard Ty Gordon (185-1998, college: Nicholls) with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Gaziantep (17-13) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Cagdas BS. Newly promoted Trabzonspor still keeps top position with seven games lost. Gaziantep is looking forward to face higher ranked Ankaragucu (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Trabzonspor will play against Cedi Osman and is hoping to win this game.

Host Sigortam.net was defeated by TED Ankara in a tough game in Balikesir 79-87. Even 16 points by American point guard Keshun Sherrill (175-1994, college: Augusta) did not help to save the game for Sigortam.net. TED Ankara maintains twelfth position with 14-16 record. Sigortam.net at the other side keeps the third place with nine games lost. TED Ankara will play against higher ranked Haremspor (#10) in Istanbul in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Sigortam.net will play at home against Anka Spor (#18) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Bottom-ranked Anka Spor (0-30) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their 30th consecutive match to ninth ranked Bordo (16-14) 96-85 on Sunday evening. The best player for the winners was Mert Sert who scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Kaan Onat who recorded 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bordo have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Konya BBSK. Loser Anka Spor still closes the standings. Ormanspor was destroyed by Ankaragucu at home 61-85.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 21 points and 8 rebounds by CJ Elleby of Ankaragucu.
