There was no surprise when 6th ranked BIPA (5-15) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Khmelnytskyi (14-7) 72-59. The game was mostly controlled by Khmelnytskyi. BIPA was better in fourth quarter 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Khmelnytskyi dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to BIPA O.‘s 32. American guard Marty Hill (196-1997, college: Evansville) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Yevgen Koroviyakov (199-1988, agency: BIG) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Forward Kyrylo Nieamtsu (203-2005) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and forward Nikita Beshetia (198-2008) added 10 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for BIPA.
