Newly promoted Konya BBSK maintains seventh place with 16-13 record, which they share with Gaziantep. Erokspor lost third consecutive game. They keep the second position with eight games lost. They share it with Sigortam.net. Konya BBSK is looking forward to face higher ranked Cayirova (#6) in Kocaeli in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Erokspor will play at home against Final Spor (#14) and is hoping to win this game.
TBL top team – Trabzonspor (23-6) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifteenth ranked Ormanspor (11-18) in Ankara 93-62. American point guard Ty Gordon (185-1998, college: Nicholls) stepped up and scored 24 points and 5 assists for the winners and Mitch Creek chipped in 23 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). American forward William McNair Jr (211-2000, college: Kansas St.) responded with 16 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Trabzonspor have a solid series of four victories in a row. Newly promoted Trabzonspor maintains first place with 23-6 record. Ormanspor at the other side keeps the fifteenth position with 18 games lost. Trabzonspor will play against Gaziantep (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ormanspor’s supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Ankara Ankaragucu.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 29: Bordo beat TED Ankara on the road 84-74. Cagdas BS won against Cedi Osman on its own court 73-66. Fenerbahce 2 managed to outperform Balikesir BBS in Istanbul 97-83. Haremspor was rolled over Sigortam.net at home 61-92. Kapakli Spor was defeated by Gaziantep on the opponent’s court 79-71. Ankaragucu was beaten by Cayirova in a home game 80-90.

TED Ankara – Bordo 74-84

The game between closely ranked teams ended with eleventh ranked Bordo‘s (15-14) road victory over 12th ranked TED Ankara (13-16) 84-74 on Friday. Bordo made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists.
