It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Entente Orleans 45. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Sebastien Cape (185-1993) who helped to win the game recording 9 points and 7 assists and Serge Mourtala who added 13 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American guard Lee Moore (194-1995, college: UTEP, agency: 011 Sports) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Entente Orleans 45’s coach tried various players’ combinations and tested in total twelve players, but that didn’t help to avoid defeat in this game. Vichy maintains fourteenth position with 13-15 record. Orleans at the other side keeps the second place with eight games lost. Vichy will play against higher ranked Antibes (#12) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Orleans will play against Gries-Souffel (#5) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Pau-Lacq-Orthez unfortunately lost to Saint-Chamond in Saint Chamond 80-90. Nantes recorded a loss to Chalons-Reims at home 88-96. Hyeres-Toulon was defeated by Rouen on the opponent’s court 81-77. Caen beat Chartres in a home game 84-72. Bottom-ranked Fos-sur-Mer lost to Gries-Souffel on the road 80-86.
The most impressive performance of 28th round was 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists by Shannon Bogues of Gries-Souffel.


Blois – Roanne 89-85
