Mohamed Choua

Rouen Metropole Basket (ProB) inked 29-year old Morocco international 202cm power forward Mohamed Choua for upcoming season. Choua joins another Moroccan player Karim Gourari who is already in the roster.
He played most recently at Etoile Angers Basket in the NM1. In 26 games he recorded 8.4ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.0spg last season. The last season he played at FUS Rabat (D1) in Moroccan league.
He also represented Morocco at the Afrobasket Championship five years ago. His team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 6 games: 8.5ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.2spg, FGP: 61.3%, 3PT: 14.3%, FT: 62.5%.
He has played previously for two other Moroccan teams: AS Sale and FAR Rabat.
