Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Danes who are currently playing abroad.
#1. This week’s number one is former international forward Shavon Shields (201-1994, college: Nebraska, currently plays in Italy). He led Milano to a victory over the closely-ranked Reggio Emilia (2-2) 91-82 in the Italian Serie A in Sunday night’s game.
Shields was MVP of the game. He recorded 20 points in 30 minutes on the court; quite an impressive performance considering it’s only Shields’ first season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. AX Armani Exchange Milanois placed second in the Serie A.
Shields has relatively good stats this year: 11.3ppg, 3.8rpg, 2.1apg, 2FGP: 52.5%, 3FGP: 42.9% and FT: 78.1% in 18 games he played so far.

He was the best player in that game. Midtgaard recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 12 rebounds.
