Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
The game had a very big importance for second-ranked ratiopharm Ulm as it allowed them to take a leadership position. ratiopharm Ulm smashed 10th ranked MBC at home 92-66. Worth to mention a great performance of Israeli point guard Ben Saraf (197-2006) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 assists and Puerto Rican Alfonso Plummer (185-1997, college: Illinois) who added 18 points during the contest. American guard Hysier Miller (185-2002, college: Virginia Tech) responded with 8 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Weissenfels at the other side keep the tenth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Oldenburg. Weissenfels will play next round against strong Vechta trying to get back on the winning streak. Ulm will try to continue on its current victory against seventeenth ranked Goettingen on the road.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked Bayern Muenchen (12-5) against sixth ranked Rasta Vechta (11-7) on Sunday night. Visiting Bayern Muenchen was defeated by Rasta Vechta in Vechta 79-65.
