Worth to mention a great performance of Cuban forward Darol Hernandez-Zinenko (207-1989) who helped to win the game recording 6 points and 12 rebounds and forward Alexandr Lavnikov (205-1991) who added 20 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) during the contest. Belarusian power forward Denis Vikentsyev (207-1998) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and guard Filipp Stoyko (200-1998) scored 16 points. Four Tambov players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games.
