Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Kosovans who are currently playing abroad.
#1. This week’s number one is former international power forward Shawn Jones (203-1992, college: MTSU, currently plays in Croatia). Jones led Split to an easy victory against the leader Skrljevo (17-16) crushing them 98-54 in the Croatian Premijer Liga last Wednesday.
He recorded 14 points; quite an impressive performance considering it’s only Jones’ first season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams. KK Split (25-8) is placed second in Places 1-6 group.
This season Jones averages: 6.0ppg, 4.5rpg, 2FGP: 46.5% and FT: 62.5%.
He is a naturalized American.
Jones played for the Kosovan senior national team year ago.
Strangely he has never played in Kosovo.

#2. Second place goes to former international point guard Divine Myles (180-1996, agency: MSG, college: Stetson, currently plays in France). Myles led Denain Voltaire to a 1-point victory over one of league’s weakest teams Lille Metropole (13-20) 88-87 in the French ProB (second division) on Friday night.
He was MVP of the game. Myles scored 18 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 8 assists in 33 minutes; not bad, considering it’s only his first season in pro basketball. Denain ASC Voltaire (2-7) is placed fifth in the ProB.
Myles’ team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical.
Myles has relatively good stats this year: 14.3ppg, 2.8rpg, 3.5apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 56.9%(82-144), 3FGP: 36.1% and FT: 69.0% in 17 games he played so far.
He is a naturalized American.
Myles played for the Kosovan national team in 21.
He used to play for Z Mobile Prishtina in Kosovan league.

#3. The Kosovan player who performed third best last week abroad was an experienced former international point guard Malcolm Armstead (185-1989, college: Wichita St., currently plays in Greece). Armstead could not help Enosi Kavalas (13-15) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his very good performance Enosi Kavalas was defeated 96-89 at home by the lower-ranked Pagrati (#13).
Armstead was the top scorer with 22 points. He also added made 5 passes and 3 steals.
The Regular Season already ended.
This season Armstead has relatively solid stats: 13.0ppg, 4.8rpg, 6.0apg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 37.7%, 3FGP: 42.5% and FT: 70.6%.
He is a naturalized American.

He used to play for Z Mobile Prishtina in Kosovan league.

#4. Shooting guard Scott Bamforth (188-1989, agency: BeoBasket, college: Weber St., currently plays in France) was not able to help Le Mans in their game against Monaco (2-2) in the French Betclic ELITE ProA.
Bamforth scored 5 points and added 3 assists in 20 minutes.
Le Mans was edged 84-83 on their home court in Le Mans by the second-ranked Monaco.
His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial.
Bamforth has reliable stats this year: 11.8ppg, 3.0rpg and 3.9apg in 21 games.
He is a naturalized American.
Bamforth used to play for the Kosovan national team
back in 22. Apparently he has never played in Kosovo.

One more player who has never been selected to any of national teams, but has Kosovan passport:

#1. Kenan Sipahi (197-G-1995, agency: BeoBasket, currently plays in Turkey) could not help Besiktas (15-7) in their last game. Despite his good performance Besiktas lost 80-87 on the road to the much lower-ranked (#13) Socar Petkim.
Sipahi scored 11 points and added 5 passes in 25 minutes.
The Regular Season already ended.
