TBL top team – Erokspor (16-4) managed to deliver another win on Friday. This time they beat thirteenth ranked Ormanspor (8-12) in Istanbul 97-86. Erokspor made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. American point guard Maurice Watson (178-1993, college: Creighton) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. Tayfun Erulku (192-1994) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American forward William McNair Jr (211-2000, college: Kansas St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds for Ormanspor. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Erokspor have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 16-4 record. Ormanspor at the other side keeps the thirteenth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Gaziantep and Cedi Osman. Erokspor are looking forward to face Gaziantep (#15) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Cagdas BS managed to outperform Final Spor in Mugla 78-68. Balikesir BBS recorded a loss to Sigortam.net at home 91-100. Kapakli Spor was defeated by Konya BBSK on the opponent’s court 96-79.
The most impressive performance of 20th round was 32 points and 4 assists by New Williams of Konya BBSK.

TED Ankara – Cedi Osman 80-77

Thirteenth-ranked Cedi Osman (8-12) was very close to win a game against sixth ranked TED Ankara (12-8) on Saturday. TED Ankara managed to secure only three-point victory 80-77. However their fans expected much easier game. TED Ankara made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. TED Ankara outrebounded Cedi Osman 32-21 including 27 on the defensive glass. TED Ankara looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists.
