Hapoel Yossi Avrahami Eilat (National League) inked 31-year old American/Israel international 191cm guard Gerald Hannahs (college: Arkansas). Hannahs started the season at Capitanes de Ciudad de Mexico (NBA G League) in the U.S. In two games he averaged 10.5ppg and 1.0rpg. He has been regularly called to USA Senior National Team since 2023.
Hannahs is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America). Hannahs has played previously professionally in Australia (Adelaide 36ers), Greece (Kolossos H Hotels Rodou), Israel (Hapoel Tel Aviv and Ironi Nes Ziona), NBA (Memphis Grizzlies), NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors and Memphis Hustle), The Basketball Tournament (Team Arkansas and Eberlein Drive) and NBA Summer League (Milwaukee Bucks and Memphis Grizzlies).
He played in the final of Israeli Premier League in 2024.
Hannahs graduated from University of Arkansas in 2017 and it is his eighth season in pro basketball. He played also for Texas Tech University for 2 years.
